SHIRLEY IS THE EPITOME OF A WONDERFUL WOMAN AND A MAGNIFICENT MARINE.

I KNEW HER FROM SAN DIEGO RECRUIT DEPOT AND SUMMER FIELD TRAINING. WE COULD ALWAYS FIND HER SEA-BAG WHEN OFF-LOADED...IT HAD A BIG PINK-RIBBON AND BOW! SHE WAS SO LOVED AND RESPECTED BY HER PEERS. AN ATTRIBUTE SHE KEPT ALL THE 91-YEARS OF HER GLORIOUS AND EXTRAORDINARY LIFE JOURNEY ON EARTH.

Shirley was an AMAZING Lady! Our friendship started on March 28th 1978 my first day at Boeing, she was my Manager. She was standing at the entrance to our building with her attendance sheet in hand making sure we were all on time if you were even half a min. late she gave us a look that was like don't ever be late again. She came across stern but once you got to know her she was the Sweetest! Most kind, would do anything for anybody. Over the years we became good friends at Boeing and outside of Boeing. I remember attending her Marine Corps Retirement Party she looked fantastic in her full dress Military Uniform. She was a very hard worker she instilled that in so many of us at Boeing.

She definitely is one of a kind, and I am so Thankful to of been blessed to be her Friend!

Love you Shirley
