When I got a divorce, Ken, who I had worked with for years, opened his heart and his home to me. For a year, we, drank, laughed, and lived together atop Nob Hill. Some years later we came together in grief, as we had both lost a child to violence. He was a kind, generous and authentic man. Your passing has left a hole in my heart. RIP buddy, and say hello to Shannon and Polly for me.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Ken Stevens , I had the pleasure of working with Ken at the Four Seasons Clift Hotel for many years. He was the best concierge I have ever known, a true professional and a happy person. God bless you and your family and rest in peace.

Whenever or wherever I saw Ken,it was always a treat to be with him. We ran in the same circle and shared oh so many fun times. One of my favorite memories was visiting at the Paris hotel in Vegas. I watched as he did his thing (as only he could) and I commented that he walked around the place like he owned it! His response was pure Ken. He said "you got to", with that wry smile and sideways glance. I told him I was getting worried that between the suits and hair products he was starting to look like Wayne Newton. He got a laugh from that.It was the last of many we had over the years.
I'll remember Ken fondly and hope the outpouring of love from those of us who knew him gives some measure of comfort to the family.Rest peacefully.

I am so so very sorry to hear of Ken's passing! I knew him in North Beach a million years ago! One night we painted my office and sang loudly to Elton John's "I Guess That's Why they Call it The Blues"! I always think of him when I hear that song... Glad to hear his life continued on its upward arc! Such a great guy and fun character!!! My sympathies to his family. Rest in peace, Ken .... Susan Walsh Uchisar Turkey
