After a long battle, our sister, Kerri (Kandie) Jean Johnson took her last breath on Saturday, December 29th, 2018. We are grateful that although always the fighter, Kandie finally allowed her suffering to end. Kerri was born in San Gabriel CA to Kenneth and Matsue Johnson. She also leaves behind step-sisters, Shadiah Shweiky and Sabah Smith; brothers-in-law Patrick Lynch and Richard Broderick, Jake's father, Brian Finley and her best friend Matthew Condrin. Kandie is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Kathryn Broderick (Johnson) and Kenneth Johnson, Jr.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I met Kandie at Chaffey College when I gave her a ride home on my motorcycle. She wasn't full of life, she overflowed with it. Any in her circle were simply swept along with her. I was fortunate enough to have been included in her life for a short period of time. 40 years later, I still fondly recall those days. Wishing the family the best.
