I knew Scot through my friends Steve and Jim Lovegren. I didn't actually see him much, just occasionally would run into him. What a wonderful energy he had. I'd always feel happier after seeing him.

I first met Scot when I worked for Kelly Moore Paint Co in the 1980's. I waited on him countless times - his cheerfulness and exuberance was infectious. Over the years I would occasionally see his name in Herb Caen's column when Caen would mention the "Namefreaks" - because Scot's name was 2 San Francisco streets. I revived my own painting career in the early 2000's and when Scot retired he referred some of his clients to me - something I will always be grateful for. I ran into Scot often on my walks around the Dolores Park neighborhood Scot lived in. It was always such a joy to see him.

Bobby was a lifelong friend of my parents, Barbara (Emsley) and Eddie Pirozzi. My dad, Bobby, and Michael Frazier, another classmate from Coyle, stayed close for decades despite long distances. May they all rest in peace and the joy of long-time friendship.

My family sends our condolences to Bobby's family and friends.
