My sincere condolences are sent for the family of Charlie. I remember him being bat boy, ball boy for the KAA many years ago. Both basketball and baseball. I don't think he misses a game.

Charlioe was our neighbor & always helped my grandpa w/ going to the dump or any projects going on. He was a very friendly guy & always wanted to know what's going on w/ you. His favorite saying was "Hey, how are ya! He was a very kind soul & always was a pleasure talking to. I knew if nobody else was going to be friendly on a certain day, you could always depend on Charlie for a smile & a nice chat. Our family has many memories w/ him & his great way of Hospitality towards others. He will be ruly missed.

Charlie and I worked together way back in the 70's at the Frame Factory which was housed in an old school building in Kiel. I don't live in Kiel, but years later, every time I drove through town I'd look for Charlie and occasionally I would see him and he would always remember me. I'd pull over and we'd chat, even if it had been years since the last time we saw each other. What a great guy ... friendly to a fault. Rest in peace Bud.
