My sympathy to the family of Mr. Dekker.
I was a student of Mr. Dekker at Horace Mann. He was a great math teacher. I entered 7th grade dreading math class but as the year went by I actually started to enjoy it because I had a better understanding of math. I am now a data analyst and I work with data and math everyday. I also had him for an elective course that he took our class up in the catwalk in the theater.

Pam and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Gary always had a smile, a funny story and a kind word for all. He will be greatly missed.
