This is a late posting, but I just learned of Dr. Laack's passing. My sincere condolences go to the Laack family. Lonnie was not only a great doctor, but a great man. We missed him greatly after his retirement and there will not be another doctor like him.

My sincere condolences. Dr. Laack had been my doctor for 3 of my pets at the Animal Clinic. I enjoyed speaking with him. He was a very compassionate and caring man. He was sorely missed after he retired. I could not find any vet that compared to him. I am so sorry for your loss and ours.

Lonnie cared deeply for the patients under his care, as well as his clients. Having practiced in the area for 30 years, he had the privilege of treating multiple generations of families. Lonnie was often considered part of the family of the clients whose pets he treated. His compassion for patients was immediately evident, and has left a lasting impression on me. He was a man of many interests, and during my time at the Animal Clinic we often discussed the details of road biking and gardening. He will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched. Take care, my friend and mentor.
