So sorry for the loss of a great NCO and leader of men, First Sergeant Williams was my first as a private in Korea but he was an example to look up to. He was funny in the way he was completely different outside of uniform someone that you could talk to like any other guy in the troop.....see you at the green top....

My deepest sympathy to Mark's family and friends. You have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Even though Mark and I graduated from North High School the same year, I didn't get to know him until he married my cousin Julie. I remember visiting with Mark and Julie when we were stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas at the same time. Mark joked that I would always come to visit when they were eating dinner or had just finished so more times than not Julie would fix a plate for me. I enjoyed our friendship, playing with their white, fluffy dog Moe- and the good food. Thank you Mark for your selfless, dedicated service to our country and Julie for being the epitome of an Army spouse. People take for granted the sacrifices of service members and their families. Peace be with you. Matthew 11:28
