It was always a pleasure (for the past eight years) to bring Roy a meal from the Dousman Home Meal Service.
He liked to talk about many topics, such as golf, gardening or the weather.
He knew my name and I bet he knew the names of most other volunteers too!
He was so appreciative and never complained.
I will miss him.
My heartfelt sympathies to the family, Auk

I knew Roy from the many Summit Town Hall meetings he attended and at which he spoke. He was always looking out for the residents of our community and asked probing questions of our government leaders. Later, when he was less mobile, our paths crossed again. He would have a card or a treat for me on holidays when I stopped to deliver a meal. He continued to engage in interesting conversations. He will be missed. My sympathies to the family.Charlotte

My biggest memory of Roy was how he could sleep thru all the noise made by his kids and us neighborhood children. He couldn't sleep unless there was noise. He was a big man with lots of heart and my father Melvin Hall called him friend. He will be missed by my dad and myself. Rest in peace Roy.

Melvin (Buzz Hall) and his daughter Laurie.
