Lorraine M. Doebert
Plymouth - Lorraine M. Doebert, age 87, of Plymouth, passed away late Thursday evening (March 15, 2018) at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls where she had been a resident for the past 3 years.
She was born in Plymouth, WI on February 14, 1931, daughter of the late Albert and Hilda (Laack) Hueppchen.
She attended area schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1949.
On July 14, 1951 she married Arvan Doebert. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1992.
Lorraine worked for JC Penny in Plymouth and later as a clerk at GTE for 20 years.
She was a member of St John Lutheran Church and was treasurer for St John Lutheran Ladies Aid and was a member of LWML and Bible Class.
Lorraine loved dancing and was in the Once a Month Dance Club. She loved baking and gardening. She grew beautiful red and black raspberries which she froze and canned and baked great black raspberry custard pies. She also canned garlic, dill pickles and shared her bounty with family and friends. In 1990 she traveled to Alaska, and it was her favorite trip.
She is survived by her sons: Barry (Gail) Doebert of Danville, VA, and Russell (Kathy) of the Town of Plymouth; daughter: Pamela Stumpf of Hamilton, OH; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers: Merlin Hueppchen, Milford Hueppchen, Kenneth Hueppchen and Carl Hueppchen and sisters: Verona Konop and Mildred Klug.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (March 19, 2018) at 12:00 Noon at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Rev. Nathan Meador, Pastor of the Church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenbush Cemetery.
Friends may call at the CHURCH on Monday (Mar. 19) from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Lorraine's name to the LWML at St. John Lutheran Church.

Our deepest sympathy to you. As you know we both worked with Lorraine at the telephone company many years ago as well as being neighbors on OJ. Sorry we are unable to attend her services as we are still wintering in Texas. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
