I'm such an admirer of Aunt Viola and will miss her beautiful face at family reunions. May she rest in eternal peace.

I am saddened to see the news of Aunt Vi's passing. Such a sweet lady, always with a smile, and quick wit. I am blessed to have known her.
My deepest sympathies to all the family.

Such fond memories of Vi and her smiles, and her love for everyone who crossed her path. Our mom, Frances Gruenke, had many good words about Vi as she often shared their happy friendship. Vi's generous spirit will be missed as she was often seen helping at St. Clement's, St. Nickolas Hospital and beyond. The Church and the world have been blessed for having known Vi.

We have dear, dear memories of Vi through all the years when Frances Gruenke chummed with Vi at St. Clement's, St. Nickolas Hospital, and beyond. She always had good words to say about her friend Vi, admired her sweetness, hard work ethic, and high moral character! We too saw her goodness in every smile, every positive greeting, every show of interest for people around her. The world has lost one of its great women. The Church has lost one of its silent saints, but their friendship can be renewed when Francis and Vi meet in heaven.
