What a lady! I always wanted to be just like her. She was my Daddy's only sister. She was overflowing with kindness, love, and talent. My fondest memories as a child were the visits her family made to her small hometown of Reagan, Texas as she, Uncle Pat and our five cousins climbed out of the car. For us happiness had arrived and Reagan came alive. She and her mother would take turns playing the piano while we all sang old hymns. She touched our lives, nourished our souls, and left us with loving memories.

Sam, Tarver, Jeanie and Beth,

There is no greater love and bond such that exists between a mother and her children. Having the privilege of visiting in your home many times, I can attest to the fact that Mrs. Spivey loved each of you unconditionally. She will be greatly missed and you will carry her many endearing qualities always.
