Kadi Raye McHorse

Reno, NV - Kadi McHorse, also known as Kaydee, age 26, of Reno, Nevada, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Kadi was born on May 11, 1994 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Marvin Ray and Sherri Lynn McHorse.

Kadi was a talented artist. She enjoyed drawing, reading, animals of all kinds, and nature. Though she traded out the hot Louisiana summers for Nevada's beautiful scenery, she never let go of her love for spicy Louisiana food.

Kadi is survived by her parents, Sherri and Marvin McHorse, her sister Cori Lynn McHorse, her boyfriend, Noah Burton, her two beloved cats, Nugget and Paco, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends that love her.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Kadi's life for family and her closest friends. The family requests donations to be made in Kadi's honor to https://bestfriends.org/

I haven’t been here long but I feel like it’s been long enough to learn that friends come into our lives for a specific reason whether they stay for a short time or forever. Kaydee was fun, adventurous, and most of all loyal. If you were lucky enough to be her friend then you know she would protect you and be in your corner no matter what. I believe she came to me during a time when I needed her friendship the most. I don’t have to list off the reasons why because she knows and I will thank her for that for eternity. Kaydee you will always be my greatest friendship, my sister, my partner in crime.. I love you.

The best thing to ever happen was kaydee coming into my life just 8 years ago, because of her I became a better person. Because of her I've never felt the love we had, and nothing will ever compare to the highs and lows we had to experience together over years, but thank God she was as strong as she was beautiful cause i could've have done it without her. No doubt there. I just wish I could have done more for her sooner. I don't think anyone that knew her personally didn't love her. Some of us may never get over this but as cliche as it sounds, kaydees still with me everytime I see a store we shopped at, or the color purple, or literally anything at this point. Nothing will ever compare to the weight of not being able to wake up next to you again. Love is forever though and I know you'll be with us bb. Please be at peace.
