To the DeFrancesco Family,
As a 16 y.o. teenager in 1986, I worked at Western Beef on South and Forest Aves. Al cut the large cuts of meat for the customers. I worked till closing with Al everynight. I also liked to hunt and was interested to learn how to cut meat so that I could cut my own deer. At every opportunity, Al would show me how to break down a large cut into smaller pieces. He was such a great guy! Till this day I still cut up my own deer and on many occasions I've thought about Al and not only the meat cutting lessons he thought me ("it's easy, just follow the seams") but the lessons on life in general, his cheery personality and positive attitude were a great influence on me. I never got to thank him for everything he thought me, for this I will be forever in his debt. I would like to express my most profound condolences to all of Al's relatives. May he always rest in peace.
Joe Sarcona
