Sincere condolences to the family in the loss of a brave and dedicated man of many talents. My dad was also a vet and the impression of seeing the Nordhausen camp affected him forever. Those who fight for freedom and democracy will receive the rewards they have earned. Mr. Petrazzolo was a person of faith and this legacy will remain. R.I.P.

I knew Ed from times spent sitting on the green "sunny bench" outside our building on sunny afternoons. He always called me by my name, and was an real gentleman. I respected his service, and in the short time I knew him considered Ed a friend. I will miss his friendly "hello" whenever we crossed paths, and will also miss his gentle conversation.

We express our condolences to the Petrazzolo family.
I have so many fond memories about Ed, beginning many years ago in Arizona.
we spent time together at Spring training and Fall league baseball games, attentded Fiestal Bowl games, one in particular was the Notre Dame game.
So much fun, a lot of the Petrazzolo family Mary, and many of his friends and relatives enjoyed that game.
We followed it up with a game at Notre Dame, when they played against University of Southern California.
Attended the January 31st 1988, Super Bowl in San Diego, Washington Redskins vs. Denver Bronco's.
We enjoyed having dinners at our house, and at his Son Eddy's house.
I could go on and on, but the message I want to leave is, we enjoyed Mr. Ed Petrazzolo, as a dear friend.
We always feel the Petrazzolo family is an extension to ours, spent so much time together in Arizona, memorable Holidays, in particular Christmas Eve's with Ed,Anne, Mark, Lisa and Tommy.
We are very close to this day.
We would be remiss if we didn't thank Mr. Ed Petrazzolo for his Military service, because of him, and all of the Veteran's we wouldn't have the freedom we enjoy.
Ed, may your soul Rest In Peace, and god bless your beautiful family.

I met Ed in 1987 when I was dating my husband-to-be John at a KofC dance. Ed & his lovely wife Mary were long time friends of Johns parents. He was the perfect gentleman around everyone he knew. He was interesting to talk to & was a very loyal friend to my in-laws right up to the end. He visited my father-in-law in the Nursing Home routinely. He was a friend of God.
