Dear Wilkinson family,
I am extremely sorry for your loss and also for he loss to the Staten Island community. My name is Robert Dore and I had the honor and privilege of knowing Rab and you, his wonderful family, for the better part of 15 years.
During the course of time that I knew Rab our relation grew to be one that was a true friendship even if it was only one when we met at the bowling alley, Fortune Garden or going out to dinner with the boys (Chico, Joe and Franky).
Both of my daughters (Nicole and Kimberly) had the opportunity to work for Rab's (actually Kimberly still works there) and led by Rab, the Wilkinson family helped to teach them both about professionalism, respect and accountability. For that I will always be grateful.
I will miss Rab not only for his friendship but also for what he offered to the community. He had an aura about him and created an atmosphere at Country Lanes that made you feel at home. He was a great man with the utmost integrity.
My deepest sympathies,
Robert M. Dore

Having had the privilege and honor of knowing and working for Rab and the Wilkinson family i grew as a young man to know Rab not only as a boss but as a father figure as well, who was always there for advice and a helping hand and i couldn't respect and look up to him anymore than if he were my own father.
you will be extremely missed

A Loving Friend

Everyone who know the Rabbi has suffered a great loss of a Great man. Rab has been my friend for 16 years,he never spoke a bad word about anyone only helped people in whatever capacity he could. He introduced me into the business community and gave me confidence to aspire in things I never thought I could. I can only try to immulate him as a man and continue to do his good here on Staten Island. My heart is broken for his family and myself. I love you Rabbit.

Rab was always there to help anybody for any cause. He always had a smile and a kind word and never tired of helping others. His presence will be missed. He left a legacy of love, caring and concern that not many people could ever hope to achieve. He was a great man.

I met Rab in 1989 when he took over Bowling on the Green. He always had a smile and was truly appreciative of my patronage. Rab is one of the great influences in my bowling career because he provided a wonderful bowling environment with rich opportunities to learn and excel as a bowler. Rab's Country Lanes will always be home.
I also commend his amazing philanthropic work over the last two decades. Rab was a pillar of our Staten Island community. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to the Wilkinson family.
