Joyce was a champion for children and kind and for that I will always love and remember her
October 5, 2019
I was privileged to have worked under Joyce Fonollosa when she was AP at PS 4 in SI
She was all those things cited in her obituary but more importantly she was always a champion for children I will always remember and love her for this and her kindness . May God Rest her soul.
Sincerely
Annette Droz Fuentes Retired AP from the Petrides School in Staten Island.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of your wife. She will be truly missed and I will include you and your family in my daily prayers. I worked with Joyce for many years in District 13 Ps 133.> She was a great friend who motivated me to become a teacher. She was always kind to me and I enjoyed her bubbly personality. This sweet soul will be missed
