Marion Pantoni Cherished mother and grandmother Marion Pantoni (nee Bray) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was 72. Marion was born and raised in Staten Island, where she met her love and husband of 46 years, Michael Pantoni. She was the beloved mother of Michael and Marc and proud grandmother of Amber, Lucas, and Evangeline. Marion lived a full life as an adored, wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a vivacious personality and was a fighter in all that she did- overcoming a diagnosis of cancer more than fourteen years ago. Marion loved to cook, especially during the holidays, and always looked forward to her outings with "the girls" be it Atlantic City or bingo. Most of all, Marion loved her family. She treasured her sons and instilled in them the strong values that guide them today. She especially adored her role as Grandma and was happiest playing games with her grandchildren, listening to their many stories, and spoiling them with goodies. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Marion is predeceased by her husband, Michael and is survived by her two sons, Michael and Marc, her daughter-in-law, Jennifer, and her three grandchildren, Amber, Lucas and Evangeline. She is also survived by four of her siblings, Roseanna, Julia, Lillian, and Bernard. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Hanley Funeral Home in New Dorp. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday in St. Ann's R.C. Church, Dongan Hills. Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp. Marion was a really nice lady. I was friends and grew up with Marc in Dongan Hills and I always remember Marion offering us a drink or an ice pop. May she rest in peace knowing her memory will be kept alive through her family.
