Patricia V. Harrison, 84, of Dents Run, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at the Guy and Mary Felt Manor of Emporium after a lengthy illness.
The only daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Fornel) Gerhard, she was born March 17, 1933 in Medix Run.
Patti was a graduate of Benezette School, a member of the Weedville Wesleyan Church and enjoyed hunting and gardening. She worked as a rural mail carrier through the Driftwood Post Office for 25 years. She was born and raised in Medix Run and lived in Dents run from 1955 until 2017 when she went to reside in the Guy and Mary Felt Manor of Emporium.
Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Harrison on July 22, 2015 and son-in-law, Randy Manners.
She is survived by three children, Harry "Chip" (Maxine) Harrison of Gaines, Susan Manners of Dents Run and Rita Harrison of Punxsutawney; a grandson, Charles (Miriah) Manners; and a great-granddaughter, Katherine Manners.
Private services for Patricia V. Harrison will be held by the family at a later date. Interment will take place next to her husband in the Hicks Run Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
The family suggests memorials to the Weedville Wesleyan Church and will be accepting online condolences at www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com.
