I met Carl in July of 1992 and knew right off the bat that we would get along well. He blended humor, sarcasm, knowledge and self confidence in such a manner as to always get his point across. I was new to the HVAC/R industry on the wholesale supply side and Carl was one of our good customers, a true friend of the store. He knew I was green and always took the time to explain not just what he needed, but why. Carl was one of the links to my beginnings in the industry and I would always look forward to seeing him or talk to him on the phone, all these years later.

Carl was as dedicated and conscientious an employee that any employer could want. He was never one to utter, Cost doesn't matter. It's not my money, or I don't care how long it takes, I get paid by the hour. We hear those comments too often in the store, but never from Carl. The Kroger Company got their money's worth and more from Carl Ciesiolka.

Carl and I were always on the same side, so I never got to witness any of the Carl vs contractor battles. For that I feel fortunate.

Everybody that knew him, worked with him or worked for him has a Carl story; some of those stories are even suitable for print.

I am so fortunate to have known Carl and will miss him greatly.

Kim and I are so sorry for your loss, Jenny.

I have known Carl for many years because of Kroger's. He was able to get our equipment in the bakery running even if he had to spend many hours trying to get it running again for us. He was our life savior many times!! Sending my condolences to all of his family I know he will be missed. A man gone way to soon but I'm sure he will be looking down on all of his family.

Please except my condolences to Carl's loved ones. I am one of Carl's cousin's David Ciesiolka. I have not seen Carl or his brother Mike since their father's funeral. Prior to that we have not seen eachother since we were children, when we played together at times. My prayers are for the loved ones. David and wife Jewell.
