My sincere sympathy on the passing of my neighbor, Dan Robinson. He has an absolutely lovely family. May you rest in peace Dan. You will be missed.

Two memories of Dan stick out in particular to me: one was singing with him in the Festival of Lessons and Carols and the other is the insights that he so regularly shared at meetings of the People of Praise. In both instances, he played a key role without ever attracting attention to himself.

I can easily imagine him being welcomed into the next life with a rousing cry of "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
