I am late hearing about this loss. Fran was a close friend during my childhood in Muskegon, MI. So many good memories. I'm sure her family also have good memories they treasure, and are missing her. Julia Walker Ritterbush

Jim and Fred, I was sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Your parents were great family friends when we were kids, "back in the day". Please accept my condolences. May she rest in peace.

Growing up just down the street from the Treadway family I have always thought that I was always a small part of their family myself.
Fran not only molded her own children into amazing adults, she helped to mold their friends too.
This amazing woman will be missed by many and at the same time we will all feel soo lucky to have her looking after us from her heavenly palace.

I have not seen or spoken to Mrs Treadway for 55+ years. What I do remember about my former den mother is how she recruited me to become involved with her Cub Scout Den 357 back in the late 50's. She spoke with my mother and, of course, mom gave approval. The Cub Scout experience was just ok but the enthusiasm and decency displayed by Mrs. Treadway always stuck with me.

My condolences to the Treadway family.
