Jim,
You are the man and will be greatly missed. I only have memories of us laughing together. You delivered so much fun and humor to all who had the privilege of being in your presence. I am on my 16th move since receiving an expertly crafted wooden cross of yours. It is with me at every destination, not to mention the step stool that is used regularly and numerous Christmas decorations that come out every year, all gifts from you. Thank you for your friendship and I look forward to cracking jokes again one day!

Dear Joyce and family, This evening we received the news of Jim's passing. We are very sorry. What a delightful man he always was. He always had several great jokes to share. We too have piece's of his fine woodworking in our home. I remember when we would visit Josh at Purdue, there on his desk without fail was the cross Jim had made for him. He was a special man but a cherished man to our Josh. We are sure that he and Paul Bradley are truly enjoying each other's company in Heaven once again. Joyce, you were a super wife to Jim, lovingly caring for him until his final day. We regret that we are unable to attend the funeral tomorrow but know that we are lifting you up in prayer. Dave and Patty Parker

To Joyce and the family,
Our sincere sympathy to all of you in this terrible loss. One of those people you meet who was a truly special friend. Lots of good memories of him - his sense of humor was great - and we have several keepsakes of his woodworking talents. May God comfort you greatly at this time.

I first met Jim when we played bball for Ben Medow Dodge and Main Restaurant. He was a very good player, but more importantly, a very good man and teacher and always a gentleman. I am sorry for your loss....you have my deepest sympathy....I cannot attend services for Jim, but know he is in my prayers.
