John was our neighbor for 20 yrs or more. ( (best neighbor to all of us ever) .He was a second father to my sister Michelle. He was a world class dad to his children & grandchildren. As my four grew up next door to him he always had a encouraging word, helping hand, and even helped a few of them build some amazing science projects over the years. John was a " man's man" who always put his family first , work second and himself last. John also appreciated the love and loyalty of a good dog! He had many friends and was a loyal and trusted friend to so many. John was the friend that you could call at 3am and he would be there for whatever a friend needed.. No questions, no judgements, and nothing but a " thank you" expected in return. I once was in a very dangerous situation ... John Lower probably truly saved my life with his quick actions and bravery. A debt I can never repay. His love for the outdoors and nature helped center his soul and added to his own sense of peace and contentment with life. John never backed down for what was the right thing to do in his life even if it was really hard. He never took shortcuts or the easy way when it came to any task. My family and I will always remember him with a smile and warm memories. Rest easy in Gods House John.

John, you were everyone's friend. There was no job that you wouldn't tackle. In working with you for 20+ years, I can't remember anyone ever saying anything negative about you. I will miss you my friend. May you rest in peace.

John always had a kind word and a smile whenever he came to our shop. He was a great friend, and will truly be missed. Always my favorite person to wait on.
