Mr. Dyszkiewicz was Maurice Matthys Little League's President in 1967 when our Veldman's Standard team won the St. Joseph Valley Tournament. He was the first to congratulate us on that hot August Sunday afternoon. Mr. D spent countless hours at our Meadow Lane park every season, always making sure that 1) the Major League diamond was perfectly manicured and, 2) the concession stand was stocked with every kind of penny & nickel candy he could find. I will always remember his kind words of encouragement and contagious enthusiasm. If you have any Maurice Matthys memorabilia from Mr. D's's era, please contact me at [email protected] I would be honored to create an online museum in his memory. Please accept my sincerest condolences. God Bless and Godspeed, Mr. Dyszkiewicz!

RIP Mr. Dyszkiewicz. He was my Pete & Al's Standard little league coach in 1961-62 when I was 11-12. Was a great coach and mentor! He had an awesome baby blue '57 Chevy that I asked him to save till I was old enough to drive. Condolences to his family.
