Uncle Phil was a wonderful guy-always direct, upbeat, compassionate, and kind. He loved sharing tales of what it was like growing up in the Bronx in the 40s and 50s, and how he married the love of his life, Mary Ann, and never left South Bend-always with a reminiscent twinkle in his eye and undeniable NY accent that never seemed to fade. He took a great interest in my secondary education, and encouraged me to complete the IU Paralegal Studies Program following my BSPA in order to broaden my career opportunities to include real estate, title companies, and the legal field-and in that way, he was a valuable mentor to me. Phil was a calming force of great character who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His love and support for his Alma Mater's athletic program was unwavering. I just know he's going to be looking down from Heaven and yelling Go Irish!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Phil at Metropolitan Title for many years. He was such a great man, friendly, kind, always had a good joke or two. I miss those days. We all enjoyed working with Phil. God rest your soul. I'll miss him. I will keep your family in my prayers.
