In his free time, he enjoyed watching old western movies and reading. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. Dick had an affinity for cottage cheese, cashews and sweets and routinely had three cookies and coffee for breakfast; and he was a connoisseur of Miller High Life. He was deeply loved and will truly be missed.
A Memorial service with Military Rites provided by American Legion Post 51 will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1:00 at Oakridge Cemetery, Buchanan, MI in the area behind the Chapel. A “Celebration of Life” will take place at a later date.
