Dolores Rochelle Rast

SOUTH BEND - Dolores Rochelle Rast, 65, passed from this life to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Hospice House in South Bend.
Dolores was born on September 5, 1952 in South Bend to Walter and Virginia (Hinz) Engle. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Engle; stepsons, Benjamin D. Rast and Robert D. Rast Jr.
On March 12, 1993 in Mishawaka, she married Robert David Rast. Her husband Robert survives along with her children, Timothy (Jennifer) Barhydt and Tamara (Chad) Wise; grandchildren, Abrianna and Samantha Barhydt, Peyton and Austin Wise; and brothers, Dallas (Joyce) Engle, Darrell (Dianne) Engle, and Kevin (Charline) Engle.
Dolores graduated from Penn High School in 1970. She worked for Crown International, St. Joseph Hospital, the University of Notre Dame Student Health Center, and Parker-Hannifin. She was a member of Gospel Center Missionary Church as a child, Ireland Grace Brethren Church, and Twin City Baptist Church.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday, March 5 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral Services will follow in the funeral home at 12 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Bell and Rev. Darrell Engle officiating. Entombment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dolores' name to Hospice Foundation Supporting Center for Hospice Care: South Bend-Elkhart-Plymouth, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
