Very sad to hear of Pete's passing, he was one of Nature's true Gentleman and the world was a better place with him in it. Fly high brother, much love to your family at this sad time.

So sad to hear of Peter's passing. Our love and thoughts are with you Melissa and Emma, and extended family. We spent a lot of time with Peter in the 90's and early 00's. He was a great friend and coach. We have many happy memories to treasure.

Shocked and incredibly saddened to hear this news, deepest sympathy to Melissa and family. Pete's infectious enthusiasm, dedication, patience and sense of humour wont be forgotten, remembering some of those Dunedin tournament weekends away with the kids always brings a smile to my face, good times. Rock on my friend.

So sad to hear this news, absolutely gutted. Will never forget the tennis days with Pete and my kids. Your infectious enthusiasm, dedication, encouragement and sense of humour will be sadly missed. Rock on my friend.

Very sorry to hear of Petes passing. Spent many hours 'shooting the breeze' with him at various kids tennis tournaments that my son attended over the years. He was always good for a laugh and will be sadly missed.
Thanks for everything mate, it was great knowing you.

Our deepest sympathy Melissa, Emma and extended family. Thinking of you all during this very sad time. We have such fond memories of Pete coaching our children and also the many Quad tournament trips we also went on. Pete was always there, giving up his weekend to encourage and support. Enjoyed listening to his music also. We are so sorry we are unable to attend Pete's service. Will be thinking of you all as you celebrate his life. RIP Pete, Clark Family, Balfour

I am terribly sorry to hear of Pete's passing and I cannot imagine what you will be going through. Pete was my tennis coach right the way through school and he was an absolute legend - cheeky, kind and patient, even when I as being a brat and not moving my feet! I always thought of Pete as my grown-up friend rather than a coach and I have so many fond memories of our team trips away for tournaments, his pep talks and the pictures he would draw on our rackets before a big a day. He also introduced me to chicken on chips at the Balclutha corner shop which, while I don't think my mum was too impressed, was a highlight of every bus trip! Thinking of you all.

We were very sadden to hear the news of Peter's passing. Whilst I have not seen Peter for many years I fondly remember our times growing up together in Dunedin and the many hours playing tennis together - with some success!
Deepest sympathy to Melissa & Emma, Ross and Dale
