I had alot of respect for Coach Vogel. My junior year in high school(Selkirk) we had lost a close basketball game at Cusick. Coach Vogel came into our locker room after the game and congratulated us on a hard fought game and wished us well for the rest of the season. It was a class act, and I've never forgotten it.

My condolences and sympathy go out to all of the Vogel family. It is never easy to lose a loved one. Cherish the memories and take time to laugh at the silly stuff. Fred will forever be a coach and icon in the Cusick area to many of us. RIP Fred, I am sure you are already forming a winning team to coach where you are now. WIth Love and Sadness, you will be forever missed!

Memories of Fred from the years I worked with him at Cusick School are sweet. We shared many conversations in the lunch room. I learned that Fred was a prayer warrior and lifted his coworkers in prayer (wether they wanted him to or not). I respected and appreciated Fred's work with his students, including my sons. The impact he made will endure for generations to come. My condolences to Gloria and his family. You are in our prayers.

Gloria, Vicki and Vance, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family. I'm so glad I had a chance to visit briefly with Mr. Vogel in September. His spirit lives on through all he taught us and the memories we have of him. Love to all.
