McGINLEY, Gerald Lee It is with deep sorrow that the family of Jerry McGinley, of Mukilteo, formerly of Spokane, announce his passing. Jerry was born February 22, 1952 and passed away February 6, 2021 after a long battle with leukemia. Jerry graduated from Rogers High School in 1970 and WSU where he received his Air Force commission. He retired from the USAF in 1993 attaining the rank of Lt. Colonel. He worked for Qwest for 35 years and Boeing for another 5 Years. Jerry was an excellent, determined craftsman and his work is shown in over 7 home remodels and over 25 auto restorations. Jerry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Ann, 3 children: Matt McGinley, Tyler McGinley, and Lydia McGinley, and their families: one brother, Steven McGinley, one sister, Jeanie Preston. He had one granddaughter who was the apple of his eye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and good friends Dick and Janet Moore and John and Peggy Renford. Jerry and Mary Ann enjoyed traveling and found cruise ships a fun way to spend time. Please enjoy a fond memory of Jerry as that is what he would have wanted.
