LINDH, Marilyn Ann (Alm) 1935 -2021 Marilyn Lindh 86, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on April 5, 2021. She was born March 24, 1935 in Chewelah, WA to Henry and Alpha Alm. The family moved to Deer Park when she was a young child and she graduated from Deer Park High School in 1953. While in high school, she meet her future husband, Don Lindh. They married and moved to Alaska while Don served in the Korean War. After the service they returned to Deer Park and had one son, Jay Lindh. Marilyn worked as a para-educator for Deer Park and Mead schools. She was involved in several community organizations: Job's Daughters, Jr. Chamber of Commerce, PEO (a member for 65 years) and the Deer Park Float Association. She was a member of the Deer Park Open Door Church for 80+ years. She loved to travel. She went on many cruises included the Panama Canal, Alaska, Hawaii and the Caribbean. She worked on the Deer Park Community Float for many years and traveled town to town on the float circuit including Penticton, Canada. Marilyn loved Mariner baseball and Gonzaga basketball, she followed them with great enthusiasm. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Don in 2010. She is survived by her son Jay (Amy), her two grandsons, Dane and Drew Lindh and a large extended family. A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at the Deer Park Open Door Church, Saturday, April 10 at 11:00 am. A family graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm.
