GIDDENS, Michelle Lee Irvin (Age 61) Michelle Lee Irvin Giddens passed away unexpectedly on March 14th, 2021 at her home in Cheney, WA. She was 61 years old. Michelle was born July 28,1959 in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, to Darrell and Mardell Irvin. She had three brothers, Merchon (older), Mark (younger), and Matthew (youngest). Michelle had a friendly, outgoing personality and made friends easily. Michelle learned to love horses on summer trips to the "Ranch" near Absarokee Montana, and was given a horse for her birthday that she promptly named "Babe". Michelle graduated from Cheney High in 1977 and earned her AA from EWU in Dental Assisting a few years thereafter. She married Brian Giddens on April 7th, 1984 and soon moved to Seattle WA. There she worked in the dental industry as a dental assistant and office manager for several dental practices mostly pediatric dental care. Michelle was able to fulfill her life long dream of having a child when she and Brian adopted their daughter Kyleigh Mardell Giddens on February 13, 2002. After 26 years of living in Seattle, Michelle and Kyleigh moved back to Spokane to be closer to her mother and family. She was an extremely proud and devoted mother and best friend to Kyleigh. Michelle always encouraged Kyleigh to never give up and keep moving forward. One of the proudest moments being Kyleigh's high school graduation in the Spring of 2020. Michelle loved to cook and took pride in everything she made. She had the BEST recipes! Michelle was a great interior decorator who loved to decorate for every holiday. She loved to be the "Queen of Everything". Michelle hated yard work but loved growing a garden. Some of her favorite memories were of family vacations at Priest Lake. Michelle spent much of her spare time volunteering, making meals for the homeless and filling backpacks for children in need through the local Outreach Program. Michelle was a true optimist, seeing the best in everyone and everything. Immeasurable gratitude to all who participated in Michelle Irvin Giddens life, she treasured you all. Michelle is survived by Kyleigh (daughter) Auburn, WA, Darrell Irvin (father) Spokane, WA, Mark Irvin (brother) and his wife Stacy and two children Payton and Connor Spokane, WA, Matthew Irvin (brother) Cheney, WA.
