Ray was my brother- his brother and parents took me in almost upon first sight as one of their extended family for which I will always be thankful, my friend, and an example of ingenuity and creativity in ways I never imagined. He always had an idea for his next venture or purchase, and with what seemed like little effort could make anything appear. His prowess was the acquisition and subsequent sale or trade of machines from the road. How he found his targets and who he found to be the next owner was always astonishing to me, but I definitely found it entertaining in the least, fascinating at its best.
When he met Vicky I knew he was in good hands- those that understood his ideas and his perpetual power to change his mind about anything at whim would have to be strong and willing to “go on his roller coaster ride “ for life. And she is that strong. I can imagine that their daughter Chyvonne is a wonderful complex person having traits of both her parents.
