Active in his retirement, he enjoyed working at Greive Hardware for another 22 years. Lewis continued to serve his compatriots as a recruiter for Honor Flight Dayton. He was a long time and active member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Shirley (Cottrell), and his sons-in-law Patrick Smith and Arthur Nabinger III. My Father served with him in Korea and Lewis and P.J. Boying came to San Diego a few months before my Father died in 2012 for a reunion. The three hadn't seen each other since Korea, 60 years. Such amazing, strong and sweet men. The Bradeen Family sends our deepest condolences for your loss. Lewis was such a nice man. Vickie Bradeen, San Diego CA
