My deepest sympathy to Father Tom's family. I met him when I worked in the business office at Alter High School many years ago. We quickly realized a similar sense of humor that fostered a great friendship we shared for many years. I will always remember his great smile and the sparkle in his eyes. He will be missed!

As a child growing up in Dayton and a frequent visitor to the Meyer home with my parents, the conversations always revolved around the Dayton Flyer Basketball Team and the Catholic Religion. Father Tom was my favorite teacher at Alter High School. He married my wife and me and in later years helped me in a development position I had after retirement at a new Catholic High School we started in Texas. Father Tom was an inspiration to me and will be missed by all that knew him. My sincere condolences to the family, especially Mary Ann and Joe who I have fond memories of growing up in Dayton.

Father Tom was a great leader at Holy Angels. It was a blessing to be in a parish with him. Always friendly, always helpful, but always with a fun twist of humor. Our love and prayers to the Meyer family and special thanks to Father Tom for all of the great memories:) love, Karen and Felix McGinnis and family

Definitely one of my favorite teachers in high school. I think he had a gift for teaching. He was also a kind and respectful counselor. I think his modus operandi towards his students was common sense mixed with kindness and a bit of toughness (meaning, behave and be responsible for your actions). I remember him participating in the student/teacher gig in '74 or '75 at school (Ringo Starr's "You're 16, etc."). I never forgot him or the influence he had on me, since I graduated from h.s. in 1975. I extend my sympathies to Fr. Tom's family, with a great deal of respect.
