Mr. Shih was one of my favorite customers at my insurance agency. Very friendly and upbeat, and he was one of my favorite people to walk through the front door. My condolences to his family...

Shir was a great guy. I enjoyed working with him when we both volunteered at the AO Hospital.
My deepest sympathy to the family of Shir.
Sincerely, Bradley Ball

To the family of Chung Hsin "Shir" Shih,

What a remarkable man he was! Shir was a Chemung Volunteer Action Corps (former RSVP) volunteer for 18 years donating 2,082 hours of his time to serving others in our community and he was a featured volunteer in our newsletter as well. We truly appreciate folks like Shir. Please know that you are in our thoughts at this difficult time.
Sincerely, the CVAC staff

I also worked with Mr. Shih at Pierce's Restaurant. He was such a kind man and a friend to everyone. So sorry for your loss, Duane, Deb and family.
