Such a loss, a good man taken way too early. I always looked forward to his call when it was chicken serving time at the fair. A true calm pleasure to stand and talk about apples or horses and whatall. I will miss thinking of him being up at the house as I drive or ride by. My warm wishes to all of his fine family.

We are so sad to hear the news of Dave's passing. We met Dave when we started working with the Backbone Ridge History Group in their efforts to clean-up and restore the Reynoldsville Cemetery. Dave impressed us from the beginning as a friendly, kind and gentle spirit. Our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to his wife and family. May you have many wonderful memories to keep Dave close in your hearts.

I knew Dave as a kind and thoughtful person. I never heard him say anything negative about others. If he thought about someone in a negative way, he never voiced it. Seemed to live by the adage that if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. A good lesson learned! I also appreciated his interest in trees, propagation and natural resources in general. We both grew up on farms and found common ground there. (Dave would enjoy the pun) I enjoyed working with him on the library project and will miss him.
