Gee I didn't even know Uncle Eddie had been ill. I've been traveling the country for the last 10 months and have been out of the loop in some ways. So very sorry to hear of his passing. I have many fond memories of Uncle Ed and especially loved the few times I was able to be up on the hill with him and Aunt Min, picking veggies from their fabulous garden and taking the paddleboat out. My mother (his sister) loved him so and he was always a great brother to her. I know he will be greatly missed by so many. Love to all the family - from Kathy (Sample) Marks and hubby Sandy.

On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans (USSVI), I offer our sincere condolences on Edwards passing. You and your loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers. We are forever grateful for Edwards service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service. To our Brother of the Phin we say, Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country."
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. - 2 Thess 3:16.
