Dearest Dorothy, and family, It wasn't until a few moments ago that I heard of Frances' passing! I can't tell you how sad I am! We all have such great memories of our summers at Seneca Lake! Chad loved playing cards with you (Dorothy) and Francis plus eating twizzlers! She was such a wonderful person. So thoughtful, caring and full of fun! The boys were 7 & 11 when we bought our cottage, and now they are in their 30's. I can still see Frances in your back yard at the lake playing ball with them, laughing and having so much fun. Frances will be deeply missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with you Dorothy, and your family!
Love,
Carol Ahearn & Family

My sincere condolences to the family of Fran DeLappa. I was saddened to read of her passing in the newspaper. I worked with Fran for many years at the Elmira City School District. A few years before her retirement, I became her secretary when she was at the Admin. Bldg. I always found Fran to be very professional and very fair in her dealings with people and staff. She was certainly blessed to have had such a long retirement!!
