I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up on Maple Dr. and all of us kids played on my street, Redwood Dr. and others for many years. Dave, I remember your Dad as a very nice man. Even after I married and had kids I would bring them down to the neighborhood for Halloween. Your father remembered me and talked with my sons. Again I am so sorry that he has gone.

To the family of Gordon Carpenter: Gordon was a Chemung Volunteer Action Corps (former RSVP) volunteer for nearly 5 years donating 445 hours of his time to serving others in our community. We truly appreciate folks like Gordon. Please know that you are in our thoughts at this time. Sincerely, the CVAC staff.

Mrs. Carpenter, Dave, Carol and families...
My deepest condolences on the passing of Mr. Carpenter. He was very quick witted, telling things just as how it was. I enjoyed quite a few conversations with him, when he stopped over to his friend Lud's house and I happened to be there. May he rest in peace.
