Sr. Kathleen was a gentle soul, loving, intelligent, and committed to her religious vows as the sister of Mercy for 73 years. Her love to education of African women was exceedingly. May she rest in God's eternal glory and God's consolation to all members of her immediate and extended family and friends.

Comfort, comfort ye my people...
May the depths of God's tenderest Mercies attend you all in the mourning of your sister. The doubled gift of a sister/Sister is blessing multiplied beyond your family boundary - and we who have been blessed by each of you know the love that you each and all generously share with others. May that blessing of love now return to you abundantly as you celebrate the life generously given you by God - a gift now returning whence it came...
You're in our prayers unceasingly, dear Millikens

Sister Kathleen was a prigressive adventurous, risking, trusting soul. In 1966 she, along with another Sister Joined me in a Ecumenical Ministry , operating the first Ecumenical Vacation Bible School, Coffee, House "Fox Hole" and outreach ministry. She moved into an apartment at Jones Court Public Housing. What a gift from God!
