Just wanting to say thank you to Sue Tobias for her memory of my mother. Though I knew music was always a special place of interest and talent for her, I am hearing stories such as yours that give me better insight into just how talented she truly was. I'm sorry I didn't have a proper appreciation for that prior to her passing. Thank you posting your thoughts.

Margaret and I grew up together in Big Flats and attended First Presbyterian Church there and sang in many choirs ther. My favorite was the girl's double trio and the 6 of us were inseperable for years. When West Side Story came out she immediately bought the music and we all learned the songs with her playing piano in a week end. This is the first I had heard about her since we graduated from HHS. I was clad of 63 but the others were from 64. Judy Farr, Diane Black, Sue Perkins, Mary and Cathy Bottcher were the others. If you hear from any of them, ask them to friend me.
