Dear Bob,
We just heard from Sr. Jean and were saddened to hear of Mary Ellen's passing. She was a remarkable compassionate person who made this world of ours a much better place. She was an amazing gift to all. The loss to you and your family must be profound. Our prayers and all good wishes are with you and your family. Love, Monica and Ken Emery

Dear Bob

We were very sad to read of Mary Ellen's passing---just now. We are thinking of you and sending you every good thought and prayer. I always enjoyed talking to Mary Ellen at Corning gatherings, she was always so nice and kind to me and I have always remembered her fondly because of that. What a good life she led. May she rest in peace.
Most Sincerely, Fran and Marty Rome

Dear Bob.....
Sorry to hear about Mary Ellen's passing. You both contributed so much to make the world enjoyable for others. I particularly shared Mary Ellen's associations at Corning and Chautauqua. Blessings to you and your family in this loss.

Dear Bob,I remember Mary Ellen and you being the warmest of neighbors when Rodney and I stayed at the Summer Inn so many years ago.
A devoted couple is a wonder to experience and the loss is great.
Mary Ellen was an example of steadfast love of God,of you and indeed all who knew her.
Don't try to paint for a while was what I was told, but painting can be a comfort as well as your loved ones.
Meg Lay.
