Davies, "Jerry", Geraldine K.
Geraldine K Davies, "Jerry", passed away December 9, 2016, in Hendersonville, NC. She was born December 16, 1921, to Wert Lee and Ruth Mahoney Kendall. Jerry graduated from Southside HS in 1940 and St Joseph's Hospital Nursing School in 1943. Jerry was united in marriage to Kenneth A Davies, July 29, 1945. She served as a Navy Nurse during WWII and continued working as a Registered Nurse at St Joseph's Hospital after the war. She later joined her husband in their wholesale refrigeration business in 1965.
Jerry was predeceased by her husband, Ken, January 11, 1995; her sister, Ruth Jean Kendall Farr and her brother, Wert "Bud" Kendall. She is survived by her children, Mark S Davies (Suzy), Spokane, WA; Christina Davies, Red Oak, TX; and Kathleen 'Kit' Brosius, Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Mark S Davies, Jr (Jane), Honolulu, HI; AF Major Chad Davies (Cora), Colorado Springs, CO; Sara Davies Taylor, Spokane, WA; Clay Davies (LeAnna), Amarillo, TX; Scott J Corse (Reshae), Garland, TX; Katie Brosius, Dallas, TX; Jack Brosius, Dallas, TX; and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by beloved sister in law, Kate Kendall Stilz along with many special nieces and nephews. At Jerry's request, a private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the CV Employees Appreciation Fund 600 Carolina Village Rd Hendersonville, NC 28792.
