Wolstenholme, Jean M. (Klinke)
Jean M. (Klinke) Wolstenholme, 85, born in Greenwood, WI and longtime resident of Northampton Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at her home, surrounded by family. She was married 61 years to her beloved sweetheart, the late Eugene Wolstenholme, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Olive Klinke and survived by her siblings Lorraine, Karen, Rita, Ralph and Kay. She was the loving mother of Bob (Sunny), Renee Smith (Scott), Karen, Ralph (Joey), Jim, Mike (Chris), Allen (Debbie) and John (Susan) as well as the grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 2. Having grown up on a farm, Jean enjoyed the peace and solitude provided by her gardens and fruit trees on the family farm located in Churchville. She taught her eight children the value of hard work as they all helped at their road-side fruit stand, Merry-Go-Round Orchard. She enjoyed spending time at the family vacation home in Westfield, PA and traveling with her husband in their motorhome. Some of her best memories were of their adventures to Alaska. She was a founding member and devoted parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church. Those who were blessed to know her will remember this hard-working and devoted wife and mother. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at her viewing and funeral Mass on Saturday, July 23rd, at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd, Richboro, PA 18954. Friends and family will be received between 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM, followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in memory of Jean to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 5300 Chester Avenue, Phila., PA 19143.
