Sweitzer, Cherry Joy "Meah"
Of Horseheads, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the age of 68. Cherry was born December 4, 1947, a daughter to the late Richard and Wilma Thomas Golden. Cherry is survived by her daughters, Christine Brill, and Renee Sweitzer (Michael Randall with children, Nicole and Cheyenne); grandchildren, Emily, Kaliann "KK", Caden, Avarie, and Dakota; special great grandson, Luke; siblings, Richard (Lillian) Golden, Mary (Verne) Mower, Betty (Jim) Ryder and Don Brelsford and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a Certified Daycare Provider for many years at Over The Rainbow and more recently at the YMCA. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Breesport Baptist Church, Breesport, NY on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 1 - 3PM. Her Funeral Services will follow with Pastor Doug Forman. She will be laid to rest at the convenience of the family. My heart is heavy for all of your family and friends. This was something no one expected. I'm sure with the help of each other and The Lord whom she loved, you will find comfort. I'm very glad I had time with her when Aaron lived next door to her. We ate at picnics and laughed at children. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, and great grandson. I am praying for everyone. Cherry taped Andy Griffith shows for me before the came out on video. We used to joke a lot about the shows and other things. I will miss her Quick wit and her friendship.
