CRANNELL, Madaline L. "Maude"

of Elmira Heights, NY passed away after a brief illness on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the age of 69. Maude was born May 8, 1947 in Syracuse, NY. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Crannell and brother Thomas Crannell. Maude is survived by her siblings, Maxwell (Diane) Crannell, Susan ( Ed) Gryska, Pete (Karen) Crannell and William Crannell; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Maude was a retired nurse for various local hospitals. Her hobbies include reading, sewing and raising a multitude of cats. The family will welcome relatives and friends to join them in celebrating her life at Bernie Murray's, 500 South Main St., Elmira, NY on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 2PM. The family respectfully request that memorials be made in Maude's name to, Vietnam Veterans War Museum, 1200 Davis St., Elmira, NY 14901 in her memory.
