Gladys, Richard, Linda, Nancy, Dave and your extended Families
Our thoughts and prayers go with you for your enormous loss. Dick is already sorely missed.
But, we all have such positive memories: He was a man of great accomplishment, confidence, skills, integrity, creativity, loyalty, happiness, and optimism; a thinker, inventor, and problem solver who had the ability to share warmth, genuine friendship, and fun with those around him. Always ready to help. He was very comfortable with who he was, and very dedicated to you Gladys and his family.

As a friend, he became one of my best friends in our retirement years. Having similar engineering backgrounds, we enjoyed discussions, luncheons, social interactions, and telephone and e-mail exchanges on all kinds of topics. Our friendship was fun and interesting. Barbara and I were very fortunate to enjoy a special social relationship with you Gladys and Dick.

For you and your family, you have all the wonderful memories of who he was spanning a very diverse complete set of life's experiences to serve as his legacy.

Committed to our continuing friendship,
Earle and Barbara

Am so happy that we have had the pleasure to know Dick (since 3rd grade) and share so many pleasant times in school and then in our later years. Dick was a gentleman, but also fun loving and a very caring soul...he will be sorely missed by our Northport group and will always have a very fond place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Gladys, and also to your family.

There is no better friend than one who is a friend when you are in need. Dick was the best in every way.
