Many fond memories of board games and a rare brand of your dad's humor along with the ever cheery Rosie flood my heart as I think back on the many days and evenings with your family. A truly good man with a well lived life and an amazing legacy clearly rising through you, his children, and your children, and theirs too... not to mention the many lives each of you continue to touch as you make the world a better place. I am sorry I did not see this in time to come and pay my respects in person. May your memories of him comfort you and make you smile. Peaceful energy to each of you, Neil

MY MEMORIES OF DICK ARE MANY. I FIRST MET ROSIE AND DICK AT DUNN FIELD BALL GAMES. WHAT A WONDERFUL COUPLE, FULL OF FUN AND ENJOYING LIFE. WHEN DICK LOST ROSIE HE QUIT COMING TO THE BALL GAMES FOR QUITE AWHILE. WE FINALLY GOT HIM BACK AND FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS HE JOINED US ON THE 1ST BASE SIDE FOR THE GAMES. HE LOVED TO SING SO ONE SEASON 3 OR 4 OF US SANG TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME EACH GAME. DICK WAS FUN TO BE WITH AND WE SHARED MANY A LAUGH AND EVEN SOME SERIOUS TALKS. I LOVED THAT MAN. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE LOVING FAMILY THAT WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR HIM. HE LOVED ALL OF YOU AND TALKED OF YOU OFTEN. I HOPE TO SEE SOME OF YOU KIDS AT THE BALLGAMES. HE IS BACK WITH ROSIE. YIPPEE! HARLAN

Victoria, Rita, Mary, Dolores, Donna, Janice and Richard:
Your father was a fine man and a good friend.
I will always remember the varied and interesting
conversations that we had over the years at his home. Please accept my deepest condolences.
Although you are sad now because he has left us,
be happy for him tomorrow for he has been reunited with his beloved Rosalie and they will
now be together forever. God bless you all.
